Spicy Lamb Kebabs (Mangalî Gosht)

Ingredients

  • 1.5 lbs lamb, cut into cubes
  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp cayenne pepper
  • 1 tsp cumin
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix the chopped onion, minced garlic, paprika, cayenne pepper, cumin, olive oil, salt, and pepper.
  2. Add the lamb cubes to the marinade and coat them evenly. Let it marinate for at least 1 hour in the refrigerator.
  3. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
  4. Thread the marinated lamb cubes onto skewers.
  5. Grill the kebabs for about 10-12 minutes, turning occasionally, until they are cooked to your desired doneness.
  6. Remove the kebabs from the grill and let them rest for a few minutes before serving.
