Ingredients
- 2 racks of pork ribs
- 1 cup mango puree
- 1/2 cup ketchup
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 300°F (150°C).
- Season the ribs with salt, pepper, smoked paprika, garlic powder, and onion powder.
- Place the ribs on a baking sheet and bake for 1.5 hours.
- In a saucepan, combine the mango puree, ketchup, brown sugar, apple cider vinegar, Worcestershire sauce, and cayenne pepper. Simmer for 10 minutes.
- Brush the ribs with the mango BBQ sauce and return to the oven for another 30 minutes, basting occasionally.
- Once the ribs are tender and caramelized, remove from the oven and let them rest for a few minutes before serving.
