Spicy Mango Bbq Ribs

Ingredients

  • 2 racks of pork ribs
  • 1 cup mango puree
  • 1/2 cup ketchup
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 300°F (150°C).
  2. Season the ribs with salt, pepper, smoked paprika, garlic powder, and onion powder.
  3. Place the ribs on a baking sheet and bake for 1.5 hours.
  4. In a saucepan, combine the mango puree, ketchup, brown sugar, apple cider vinegar, Worcestershire sauce, and cayenne pepper. Simmer for 10 minutes.
  5. Brush the ribs with the mango BBQ sauce and return to the oven for another 30 minutes, basting occasionally.
  6. Once the ribs are tender and caramelized, remove from the oven and let them rest for a few minutes before serving.
