Spicy Momo Madness is a popular Nepalese dish consisting of spicy dumplings filled with a flavorful mixture of meat and vegetables. These momos are perfect for those who enjoy a bit of heat in their food.
Ingredients
- 1 lb ground meat (chicken, lamb, or beef)
- 1 cup finely chopped cabbage
- 1/2 cup finely chopped onion
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp ginger, grated
- 2 green chilies, finely chopped
- 1/4 cup cilantro, chopped
- 1 tsp cumin powder
- 1 tsp coriander powder
- 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
- Salt to taste
- 20 round dumpling wrappers
Instructions
- In a large bowl, mix together the ground meat, cabbage, onion, garlic, ginger, green chilies, cilantro, cumin powder, coriander powder, turmeric powder, and salt.
- Place a small amount of the filling in the center of each dumpling wrapper. Moisten the edges with water, then fold and pleat to seal the momos.
- Steam the momos in a steamer for 15-20 minutes until cooked through.
- Serve hot with a spicy dipping sauce.
