Spicy Momo Madness

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground meat (chicken, lamb, or beef)
  • 1 cup finely chopped cabbage
  • 1/2 cup finely chopped onion
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp ginger, grated
  • 2 green chilies, finely chopped
  • 1/4 cup cilantro, chopped
  • 1 tsp cumin powder
  • 1 tsp coriander powder
  • 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
  • Salt to taste
  • 20 round dumpling wrappers

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, mix together the ground meat, cabbage, onion, garlic, ginger, green chilies, cilantro, cumin powder, coriander powder, turmeric powder, and salt.
  2. Place a small amount of the filling in the center of each dumpling wrapper. Moisten the edges with water, then fold and pleat to seal the momos.
  3. Steam the momos in a steamer for 15-20 minutes until cooked through.
  4. Serve hot with a spicy dipping sauce.
