Spicy Mutton Chukka

Ingredients

  • 500g mutton, cut into pieces
  • 2 onions, finely chopped
  • 3 tomatoes, finely chopped
  • 1 tablespoon ginger-garlic paste
  • 1 teaspoon turmeric powder
  • 2 tablespoons red chili powder
  • 1 tablespoon coriander powder
  • 1 teaspoon cumin seeds
  • 4-5 dry red chilies
  • Curry leaves
  • Salt to taste
  • Oil for cooking

Instructions

  1. Heat oil in a pan and add cumin seeds and dry red chilies. Sauté until fragrant.
  2. Add chopped onions and curry leaves. Cook until onions turn golden brown.
  3. Now, add ginger-garlic paste and sauté for a few minutes.
  4. Add the mutton pieces, turmeric powder, red chili powder, coriander powder, and salt. Mix well and cook until the mutton is browned.
  5. Next, add the chopped tomatoes and cook until they are soft and the oil separates from the masala.
  6. Garnish with fresh coriander leaves and serve hot.
