Spicy Paneer Tikka Masala

Ingredients

  • 400g paneer, cut into cubes
  • 1 cup yogurt
  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • 2 tomatoes, pureed
  • 2 tbsp ginger-garlic paste
  • 1 tsp cumin seeds
  • 1 tsp garam masala
  • 1 tsp turmeric powder
  • 1 tsp red chili powder
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 2 tbsp oil
  • Salt to taste
  • Fresh coriander leaves for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix yogurt, ginger-garlic paste, garam masala, turmeric powder, and red chili powder. Add the paneer cubes and marinate for 15 minutes.
  2. Heat oil in a pan and add cumin seeds. Once they splutter, add the chopped onions and sauté until golden brown.
  3. Add the tomato puree and cook until the oil separates from the masala.
  4. Add the marinated paneer cubes and cook for 5-7 minutes.
  5. Pour in the heavy cream and simmer for another 5 minutes.
  6. Garnish with fresh coriander leaves and serve hot.
