Spicy Paneer Tikka Masala
Spicy Paneer Tikka Masala is a classic North Indian dish that combines marinated paneer with a rich and creamy tomato-based gravy. This dish is bursting with flavors and is perfect for spice lovers.
Ingredients
- 400g paneer, cut into cubes
- 1 cup yogurt
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 2 tomatoes, pureed
- 2 tbsp ginger-garlic paste
- 1 tsp cumin seeds
- 1 tsp garam masala
- 1 tsp turmeric powder
- 1 tsp red chili powder
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 2 tbsp oil
- Salt to taste
- Fresh coriander leaves for garnish
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix yogurt, ginger-garlic paste, garam masala, turmeric powder, and red chili powder. Add the paneer cubes and marinate for 15 minutes.
- Heat oil in a pan and add cumin seeds. Once they splutter, add the chopped onions and sauté until golden brown.
- Add the tomato puree and cook until the oil separates from the masala.
- Add the marinated paneer cubes and cook for 5-7 minutes.
- Pour in the heavy cream and simmer for another 5 minutes.
- Garnish with fresh coriander leaves and serve hot.
