Ingredients
- 1 cup roasted peanuts
- 3-4 red chilies, seeded and chopped
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons tamarind paste
- 1 tablespoon palm sugar
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup water
Instructions
- In a food processor, blend the roasted peanuts until finely ground.
- Add the red chilies, garlic, tamarind paste, palm sugar, and salt to the food processor. Blend until smooth.
- Transfer the mixture to a saucepan and add water. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, for 5 minutes or until the sauce thickens.
- Remove from heat and let it cool before serving.
