Ingredients

  • 2 cups puffed rice

  • 1/2 cup chopped coriander leaves
  • 1/4 cup sev (crispy chickpea noodles)
  • 1/4 cup tamarind chutney
  • 1/4 cup green chutney
  • 1 tsp chaat masala
  • 1/2 tsp red chili powder
  • 1/2 tsp cumin powder
  • 1/2 tsp black salt
  • Salt to taste
  • 12 puris (crispy puffed bread)

Instructions

  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the puffed rice, onions, potatoes, and coriander leaves.
  2. Add the tamarind chutney, green chutney, chaat masala, red chili powder, cumin powder, black salt, and salt. Mix well to coat the ingredients with the chutneys and spices.
  3. Arrange the puris on a serving plate and gently crack the top of each puri to create a small opening.
  4. Spoon the prepared puffed rice mixture into each puri.
  5. Top the filled puris with a generous amount of sev.
  6. Serve the spicy puffed bread snack immediately, garnished with extra chopped coriander leaves and a sprinkle of chaat masala.
