Spicy Rum Glazed Wings

Ingredients
- 2 lbs chicken wings
- 1/4 cup dark rum
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 2 tbsp hot sauce
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a small saucepan, combine the rum, brown sugar, hot sauce, garlic, paprika, and cayenne pepper. Cook over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until the mixture thickens slightly, about 5 minutes. Remove from heat and set aside.
- Place the chicken wings on a baking sheet and season with salt and pepper. Bake in the preheated oven for 25 minutes.
- Remove the wings from the oven and brush them with the rum glaze. Return to the oven and bake for an additional 10-15 minutes, or until the wings are cooked through and the glaze is caramelized.
