Ingredients

  • 1 teaspoon Sichuan peppercorns
  • 2 green onions, chopped
  • 1 red chili, sliced (optional for extra heat)

Instructions

  1. Heat the vegetable oil in a wok or large skillet over high heat.
  2. Add the garlic and ginger, and stir-fry for 30 seconds.
  3. Add the shrimp and stir-fry until they turn pink, about 2-3 minutes.
  4. Reduce the heat to medium, then add the soy sauce, rice vinegar, sugar, and Sichuan peppercorns. Stir well to combine.
  5. Cook for another 2-3 minutes until the sauce thickens slightly.
  6. Stir in the green onions and red chili (if using), and cook for an additional minute.
  7. Remove from heat and serve hot.
