Ingredients

  • 4 pieces of fish fillet
  • 2 tablespoons tamarind paste
  • 4-6 red chilies, sliced
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 inch ginger, sliced
  • 1 teaspoon turmeric powder
  • 2 tablespoons cooking oil
  • Salt to taste
  • Sugar to taste
  • Water

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix the tamarind paste with some water to make tamarind juice. Set aside.
  2. Heat the cooking oil in a pan and sauté the garlic, ginger, and onions until fragrant.
