Ingredients
- 1 block of firm tofu, cubed
- 2 cups of vegetable broth
- 1 cup of sliced mushrooms
- 1/2 cup of sliced bamboo shoots
- 1/4 cup of soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons of Chinese black vinegar
- 2 tablespoons of chili oil
- 1 tablespoon of Sichuan peppercorns
- 2 green onions, sliced
- 2 cloves of garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon of sugar
- Salt to taste
Instructions
- In a pot, bring the vegetable broth to a simmer.
- Add the tofu, mushrooms, bamboo shoots, soy sauce, Chinese black vinegar, chili oil, Sichuan peppercorns, garlic, and sugar to the pot.
- Simmer for 15 minutes, or until the tofu and vegetables are tender.
- Season with salt to taste.
- Garnish with sliced green onions before serving.
