Ingredients
- 1 whole chicken, cut into pieces
- 2 onions, sliced
- 5 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 inch ginger, grated
- 2 tomatoes, diced
- 3 tablespoons tomato paste
- 1 tablespoon chili powder
- 1 teaspoon turmeric powder
- 1 teaspoon coriander powder
- 1 teaspoon cumin powder
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- Salt to taste

Instructions
- Heat some cooking oil in a large pan over medium heat.
- Add the sliced onions and sauté until they are soft and translucent.
- Stir in the minced garlic and grated ginger, and cook until fragrant.
