Ingredients
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 3 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 teaspoon cumin
- 1 teaspoon coriander
- 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon turmeric
- 1 can (14 oz) crushed tomatoes
- Salt to taste
- Black pepper to taste
Instructions
- In a large saucepan, heat the olive oil over medium heat.
- Add the chopped onion and sauté until translucent.
- Add the minced garlic and sauté for another minute.
- Stir in the cumin, coriander, cayenne pepper, paprika, and turmeric, and cook for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.

- Simmer the sauce for 20-25 minutes, stirring occasionally, until it thickens.
- Adjust seasoning to taste and remove from heat.
