Spicy Tuna Samosas

Ingredients

  • 1 can (5 oz) tuna, drained
  • 1/2 cup diced onion
  • 1/2 cup diced bell pepper
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp curry powder
  • 1/2 tsp cumin
  • 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 12 sheets of phyllo pastry
  • 1/4 cup melted butter

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix the tuna, onion, bell pepper, garlic, curry powder, cumin, cayenne pepper, salt, and pepper.
  2. Place one sheet of phyllo pastry on a clean surface and brush it with melted butter.
  3. Place a spoonful of the tuna mixture at one end of the pastry sheet.
  4. Fold the pastry over the filling to form a triangle, then continue folding to the end of the pastry sheet.
  5. Repeat with the remaining pastry sheets and filling.
  6. Heat oil in a pan over medium heat and fry the samosas until golden brown and crispy, about 3-4 minutes per side.
  7. Remove from the pan and drain on paper towels.
  8. Serve the spicy tuna samosas hot with your favorite dipping sauce.
