Ingredients
- 1 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 3 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon ginger, minced
- 2-3 red chilies, sliced
- 1 tablespoon Shaoxing wine (or dry sherry)
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon white pepper
- 2 green onions, chopped
Instructions
- Heat the wok over high heat and add the vegetable oil.
- Stir-fry the garlic, ginger, and red chilies until fragrant.
- Add the shrimp and stir-fry for 2-3 minutes until they turn pink.
- Pour in the Shaoxing wine, soy sauce, sugar, salt, and white pepper. Stir-fry for another minute.
- Add the green onions and stir-fry for a final 30 seconds.
- Transfer to a serving dish and serve hot.
