Ingredients
- 2 cups water
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 cup freshly squeezed lime juice
- 1 cup pineapple juice
- 1/2 cup orange juice
- 1/2 cup dark rum
Instructions
- In a saucepan, combine water and sugar. Heat over medium heat, stirring until the sugar dissolves. Remove from heat and let it cool.
- Once the sugar syrup is cooled, stir in the lime juice, pineapple juice, orange juice, and dark rum.
- Pour the mixture into a shallow dish and place it in the freezer.
- Every 30 minutes, use a fork to scrape and stir the mixture to create a slushy texture. Continue this process for about 3-4 hours, until the sorbet is firm.
- Once the sorbet is firm, it's ready to serve. Scoop into bowls or glasses and garnish with a slice of lime or a sprig of mint, if desired.
