Steak Pasta
Steak pasta is a delicious and hearty dish that combines tender steak with flavorful pasta in a savory sauce. This recipe is perfect for a special dinner or a weekend indulgence.
Ingredients
- 8 oz. steak, thinly sliced
- 8 oz. pasta of your choice
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 onion, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup beef broth
- 1 cup heavy cream
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil and cook the pasta according to the package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- Season the steak with salt and pepper. In a large skillet, heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the steak and cook until browned. Remove the steak from the skillet and set aside.
- In the same skillet, heat the remaining olive oil over medium heat. Add the diced onion and cook until softened. Add the minced garlic and cook for another minute.
- Pour in the beef broth and bring to a simmer. Let it cook for 5 minutes to reduce slightly.
- Stir in the heavy cream and return the cooked steak to the skillet. Simmer for a few minutes until the sauce thickens slightly.
- Add the cooked pasta to the skillet and toss to coat with the sauce. Season with additional salt and pepper if needed.
- Serve the steak pasta hot, garnished with grated Parmesan cheese if desired.
