Ingredients
- 4 chicken thighs
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons Shaoxing wine
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 green onions, chopped
- 2 tablespoons chili oil
- 1 teaspoon Sichuan peppercorns
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix together the soy sauce, Shaoxing wine, and sugar. Place the chicken thighs in a steaming dish and pour the soy sauce mixture over them. Let marinate for 10 minutes.
- Sprinkle the minced garlic and chopped green onions over the chicken thighs.
- In a small saucepan, heat the chili oil and Sichuan peppercorns over low heat for 3-4 minutes. Remove from heat and stir in the sesame oil.
- Pour the chili oil mixture over the chicken thighs.
- Steam the chicken thighs over high heat for 20-25 minutes, or until fully cooked.
