Ingredients
- 4 bone-in, skin-on chicken thighs
- 200g shiitake mushrooms, sliced
- 3 slices ginger
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 green onions, chopped
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp Shaoxing wine
- 1 tsp sesame oil
- 1/2 tsp sugar
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp white pepper
- 1/4 cup chicken broth
Instructions
- Place the chicken thighs in a steaming dish.
- Spread the sliced mushrooms over the chicken.
- Top with ginger, garlic, and green onions.
- In a small bowl, mix together soy sauce, Shaoxing wine, sesame oil, sugar, salt, and white pepper. Pour the mixture over the chicken and mushrooms.
- Pour chicken broth around the edges of the dish.
- Cover the dish with a lid or foil and steam over high heat for 25-30 minutes, or until the chicken is fully cooked.
