Ingredients

  • 2 live crabs
  • 6 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons light soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon Shaoxing wine
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon white pepper
  • 2 green onions, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil

Instructions

  1. Clean the crabs and chop them into pieces.
  2. Place the crab pieces on a heatproof plate for steaming.
  3. In a small bowl, mix the minced garlic, light soy sauce, Shaoxing wine, sesame oil, sugar, and white pepper.
  4. Spread the garlic sauce evenly over the crab pieces.
  5. Steam the crabs for 10-12 minutes until they are fully cooked.
  6. Heat vegetable oil in a pan and pour it over the steamed crabs.
  7. Garnish with chopped green onions and serve hot.
