Ingredients

  • 4 bhetki fish fillets
  • 4 tablespoons mustard paste
  • 2 tablespoons yogurt
  • 1 teaspoon turmeric powder
  • 1 teaspoon red chili powder
  • 1 tablespoon mustard oil
  • Salt to taste
  • 4 green chilies, slit
  • 4 tablespoons mustard oil for greasing

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix mustard paste, yogurt, turmeric powder, red chili powder, mustard oil, and salt to make the marinade.
  2. Marinate the fish fillets with the prepared marinade and let it sit for 15 minutes.
  3. Grease a steaming dish with mustard oil and place the marinated fish fillets in it.
  4. Place slit green chilies on top of the fish fillets.
  5. Cover the dish with aluminum foil and steam on medium heat for 15-20 minutes or until the fish is cooked through.
  6. Once done, remove from heat and serve hot with steamed rice.
