Ingredients
- 500g pork belly, sliced
- 100g preserved mustard greens
- 2 tbsp Shaoxing wine
- 2 tbsp light soy sauce
- 1 tbsp dark soy sauce
- 1 tbsp sugar
- 1 tsp ginger, minced
- 1 tsp garlic, minced
- 1 cup water
Instructions
- Blanch the pork belly slices in boiling water for 5 minutes, then drain and set aside.
- Rinse the preserved mustard greens to remove excess salt, then chop into small pieces.
- In a steaming dish, arrange the blanched pork belly slices and top with the chopped preserved mustard greens.
- In a small bowl, mix together the Shaoxing wine, light soy sauce, dark soy sauce, sugar, minced ginger, and minced garlic. Pour this mixture over the pork belly and preserved vegetables.
- Pour the water around the edges of the steaming dish, cover, and steam over medium heat for 1 hour.
- Once the pork belly is tender, remove from heat and serve hot.
