Ingredients
- 1 lb ground pork
- 1 cup chicken stock
- 2 cups all-purpose flour

- 1/2 tsp sesame oil
- 1/4 tsp white pepper
Instructions
- In a large bowl, mix the ground pork, green onions, ginger, soy sauce, sugar, sesame oil, and white pepper. Set aside.
- In a separate bowl, combine the flour and water to make the dough. Knead the dough until smooth, then cover and let it rest for 30 minutes.
- Roll out the dough into a long cylinder and cut it into small pieces. Flatten each piece into a round wrapper.
- Place a spoonful of the pork filling in the center of each wrapper. Pleat the edges of the wrapper to seal the dumplings.
- Place the dumplings in a steamer lined with parchment paper and steam for 8-10 minutes until cooked through.
- Serve the Shanghai dumplings hot with a dipping sauce made from soy sauce and vinegar.
