Steamed Shrimp with Garlic (蒜蓉蒸虾)

Ingredients

  • 1 pound fresh shrimp, deveined and peeled
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons light soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon Shaoxing wine
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon white pepper
  • 2 stalks green onions, chopped

Instructions

  1. Place the shrimp in a heatproof dish.
  2. Sprinkle the minced garlic over the shrimp.
  3. In a small bowl, mix together the light soy sauce, Shaoxing wine, sesame oil, sugar, and white pepper. Pour the mixture over the shrimp and garlic.
