Ingredients

  • 2 green onions, finely chopped
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • 1/2 tsp salt

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix the warm water, yeast, and sugar. Let it sit for 5 minutes until foamy.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour and the yeast mixture. Knead the dough until smooth, then cover and let it rise for 1 hour.
  3. In a separate bowl, mix the ground pork, green onions, soy sauce, sesame oil, and salt to make the filling.
  4. Divide the dough into 12 equal pieces and roll each piece into a small circle. Place a spoonful of filling in the center of each circle, then pleat and seal the edges to form a bun.
  5. Place the buns in a steamer lined with parchment paper and steam for 15 minutes.
