Ingredients
- 1 large head of cabbage
- 1 cup cooked rice
- 1/2 cup diced carrots
- 1/2 cup diced mushrooms
- 1/4 cup diced onions
- 1 teaspoon minced garlic
- 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 1/4 cup vegetable broth
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Boil a large pot of water. Carefully remove the cabbage leaves and blanch them in the boiling water for 2-3 minutes. Remove and set aside to cool.
- In a bowl, mix the cooked rice, carrots, mushrooms, onions, garlic, ginger, soy sauce, sesame oil, and vegetable broth. Season with salt and pepper.
- Place a spoonful of the filling onto each cabbage leaf and roll them up, tucking in the sides to enclose the filling.
- Place the stuffed cabbage rolls in a steamer and steam for 30-35 minutes until the cabbage is tender.
- Serve the steamed stuffed cabbage rolls hot and enjoy!
