Ingredients

  • 500g pork ribs
  • 200g bamboo shoots, sliced
  • 3 slices ginger
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 green onions, chopped
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp Shaoxing wine
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 4 cups water

Instructions

  1. Blanch the pork ribs in boiling water for 5 minutes, then rinse and drain.
  2. Heat a pot over medium heat, add the pork ribs, ginger, and garlic, and stir-fry until the pork ribs are slightly browned.
  3. Add the soy sauce, Shaoxing wine, sugar, and salt, and stir well.
  4. Pour in the water and bring to a boil. Reduce heat to low, cover, and simmer for 40 minutes.
  5. Add the bamboo shoots and continue to simmer for another 15 minutes.
  6. Garnish with chopped green onions before serving.
