Ingredients
- 1 lb (450g) beef, thinly sliced
- 2 tbsp vegetable oil
- 1 onion, sliced
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 bell pepper, sliced
- 3 tbsp oyster sauce
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp black pepper
- 1 tsp sugar
- 1/2 cup (120ml) beef broth
- 2 tsp cornstarch
- Salt to taste
Instructions
- Marinate the beef with soy sauce and cornstarch for 10 minutes.
- Heat 1 tablespoon of oil in a wok or large skillet over high heat. Add the beef and stir-fry until browned. Remove from the wok and set aside.
- Heat the remaining oil in the wok. Add the onion, garlic, and bell pepper. Stir-fry until fragrant.
- Return the beef to the wok. Add oyster sauce, black pepper, sugar, and beef broth. Stir-fry until the sauce thickens.
- Season with salt to taste and serve hot.
