Ingredients
- 1 pound beef, thinly sliced
- 1 head broccoli, cut into florets
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon sesame oil
- 1/4 cup water
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix the soy sauce, oyster sauce, cornstarch, sugar, sesame oil, and water to make the sauce.
- Marinate the beef with half of the sauce for 10 minutes.
- Heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil in a wok or large skillet over high heat.
- Stir-fry the beef until browned, then remove from the wok and set aside.
- Heat the remaining oil in the wok, then add the garlic and stir-fry until fragrant.
- Add the broccoli and stir-fry for 2-3 minutes.
- Return the beef to the wok, pour in the remaining sauce, and stir-fry for another 2 minutes.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
