Ingredients
- 300g beef, thinly sliced
- 2 bell peppers, thinly sliced
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 1 teaspoon cornstarch
- 2 tablespoons water
Instructions
- Marinate the beef with soy sauce, oyster sauce, sugar, salt, and cornstarch for 15 minutes.
- Heat vegetable oil in a wok over high heat. Add garlic and stir-fry until fragrant.
- Add the marinated beef and stir-fry until it changes color. Remove from the wok and set aside.
- In the same wok, add a little more oil if needed. Stir-fry the bell peppers until slightly softened.
- Return the beef to the wok, add ground black pepper, and stir-fry for another minute.
- Add water and stir until the sauce thickens.
- Transfer to a serving plate and serve hot.
