Ingredients

  • 300g beef, thinly sliced
  • 2 bell peppers, thinly sliced
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1 teaspoon cornstarch
  • 2 tablespoons water

Instructions

  1. Marinate the beef with soy sauce, oyster sauce, sugar, salt, and cornstarch for 15 minutes.
  2. Heat vegetable oil in a wok over high heat. Add garlic and stir-fry until fragrant.
  3. Add the marinated beef and stir-fry until it changes color. Remove from the wok and set aside.
  4. In the same wok, add a little more oil if needed. Stir-fry the bell peppers until slightly softened.
  5. Return the beef to the wok, add ground black pepper, and stir-fry for another minute.
  6. Add water and stir until the sauce thickens.
  7. Transfer to a serving plate and serve hot.
