土豆丝炒肉丝 (Stir-fried Shredded Potatoes) is a classic dish in Liaoning Cuisine, known for its simple yet delicious flavors.
Ingredients
- 2 large potatoes, peeled and shredded
- 200g pork, thinly sliced
- 2 tbsp vegetable oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp ginger, minced
- 2 green onions, sliced
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp oyster sauce
- 1/2 tsp sugar
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Heat 1 tbsp of vegetable oil in a wok over high heat.
- Add the shredded potatoes and stir-fry for 3-4 minutes until slightly golden and crispy. Remove from the wok and set aside.
- Heat the remaining 1 tbsp of vegetable oil in the wok.
- Add the garlic, ginger, and green onions, and stir-fry for 1 minute.
- Add the pork slices and stir-fry until cooked through.
- Return the shredded potatoes to the wok.
- Add the soy sauce, oyster sauce, sugar, salt, and pepper. Stir-fry for another 2 minutes.
- Transfer to a serving dish and serve hot.
