Ingredients
- 2 cups all-purpose flour

- 1/2 cup cold water
- 1 cup grated Gouda cheese
- 1 cup cooked and shredded chicken
- 1/2 cup diced bell pepper
- 1/4 cup chopped olives
- 1/4 cup raisins
- 1 teaspoon ground cumin
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- Oil for frying
Instructions
- In a large bowl, mix the flour and salt. Gradually add the cold water and knead the dough until smooth. Cover the dough and let it rest for 15 minutes.
- In a separate bowl, combine the grated cheese, shredded chicken, diced bell pepper, chopped olives, raisins, cumin, paprika, and black pepper. Mix well to combine.
- Divide the dough into 12 equal portions. Roll each portion into a small circle on a floured surface.
- Place a spoonful of the cheese and chicken mixture in the center of each dough circle. Fold the dough over the filling to create a half-moon shape and press the edges to seal.
- In a large skillet, heat oil over medium heat. Fry the stuffed pastries in batches until golden brown and crispy, about 3-4 minutes per side. Drain on paper towels.
