Ingredients

Instructions

- In a bowl, mix the soaked glutinous rice, ground pork, garlic, green onions, soy sauce, oyster sauce, sesame oil, salt, and white pepper.
- Stuff the lotus root slices with the rice and pork mixture, pressing firmly to fill the pockets completely.
- Heat vegetable oil in a pan over medium heat. Place the stuffed lotus root slices in the pan and sear until lightly browned on both sides.
- Pour the chicken broth into the pan, cover, and simmer for 1 hour, or until the rice is fully cooked and the lotus root is tender.
- Serve the stuffed lotus root with glutinous rice hot, garnished with additional green onions if desired.
