Ingredients
- 4 large bell peppers
- 1 lb ground meat (beef or pork)
- 1 cup cooked rice
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 cup tomato sauce
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Cut the tops off the bell peppers and remove the seeds and membranes.
- In a large bowl, mix together the ground meat, cooked rice, onion, garlic, paprika, oregano, salt, and pepper.
- Stuff the bell peppers with the meat and rice mixture, and place them in a baking dish.
- Pour the tomato sauce over the stuffed peppers.
- Cover the baking dish with foil and bake for 45 minutes.
- Remove the foil and bake for an additional 15 minutes, or until the peppers are tender and the filling is cooked through.
