Stuffed Trout (păstrăv Umplut)

Ingredients

  • 4 whole trout, cleaned and gutted
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1/4 cup fresh dill, chopped
  • 1 lemon, sliced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 4 tablespoons olive oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix the breadcrumbs, onion, garlic, parsley, dill, salt, and pepper.
  3. Stuff each trout with the breadcrumb mixture and a few slices of lemon.
  4. Brush the stuffed trout with olive oil and season with additional salt and pepper.
  5. Place the trout on a baking sheet and bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the fish is cooked through.
