Ingredients
- 1 pound fresh green beans, trimmed and cut into 2-inch pieces
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 3-4 dried red chili peppers, chopped
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon ginger, minced
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons rice vinegar
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- Salt to taste
- 1 teaspoon cornstarch dissolved in 2 tablespoons water
Instructions
- Heat the vegetable oil in a wok or large skillet over high heat.
- Add the dried red chili peppers, garlic, and ginger. Stir-fry for 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Add the green beans and stir-fry for 2-3 minutes until they are tender-crisp.
- In a small bowl, mix together the soy sauce, rice vinegar, sugar, and salt. Pour the sauce over the green beans and stir to combine.
- Add the cornstarch mixture and stir-fry for another 1-2 minutes until the sauce thickens and coats the green beans.
- Transfer to a serving dish and serve hot.
