Ingredients
- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 3-4 dried red chilies, chopped
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1-inch piece of ginger, grated
- 2 green onions, chopped
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons Chinkiang vinegar
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 1 teaspoon Sichuan peppercorns, toasted and ground
- Salt to taste
- 1/2 cup chicken broth
Instructions
- Heat the vegetable oil in a wok or large skillet over high heat.
- Add the dried red chilies, garlic, and ginger. Stir-fry for 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Add the chicken pieces and stir-fry until they are no longer pink.
- Stir in the soy sauce, Chinkiang vinegar, sugar, Sichuan peppercorns, and salt.
- Pour in the chicken broth and bring to a simmer. Cook for 5-7 minutes until the sauce thickens.
- Garnish with chopped green onions and serve hot.
