Ingredients
- 1 can (15 oz) bamboo shoots, drained and rinsed
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 1/2 cup water
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- In a small bowl, mix together the soy sauce, rice vinegar, sugar, and cornstarch. Set aside.
- Heat the vegetable oil in a wok or skillet over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and stir-fry until fragrant.
- Add the bamboo shoots to the wok and stir-fry for 2-3 minutes.
- Pour in the soy sauce mixture and water. Stir well and bring to a simmer.
- Cook for another 3-4 minutes, or until the sauce has thickened and the bamboo shoots are tender.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Transfer to a serving dish and serve hot.
