Ingredients

  • 500g white fish fillets, such as tilapia or cod
  • 1 cup Chinkiang vinegar
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup ginger, sliced
  • 1/4 cup garlic, sliced
  • 2-3 red chilies, sliced
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1/4 cup green onions, chopped
  • 1/4 cup cilantro, chopped
  • Salt to taste

Instructions

  1. In a large pot, combine Chinkiang vinegar, soy sauce, sugar, ginger, garlic, red chilies, and chicken broth. Bring to a simmer over medium heat.
  2. Add the fish fillets to the pot and cook for 8-10 minutes, or until the fish is cooked through and tender.
  3. Season with salt to taste and garnish with green onions and cilantro.
