Ingredients

  • 12 fresh oysters
  • 100g vermicelli
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon white pepper
  • 2 green onions, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil

Instructions

  1. Soak the vermicelli in hot water for 5 minutes, then drain and set aside.
  2. Shuck the oysters and place them on a heatproof plate.
  3. Spread the vermicelli over the oysters, then sprinkle with minced garlic.
  4. In a small bowl, mix together soy sauce, oyster sauce, sesame oil, sugar, and white pepper. Pour this mixture over the oysters and vermicelli.
  5. Place the plate in a steamer and steam over high heat for 10 minutes.
