Ingredients

  • 300g thinly sliced beef
  • 1 block of firm tofu, cut into cubes
  • 1 bunch of enoki mushrooms, bottom trimmed
  • 1/2 napa cabbage, sliced
  • 4 green onions, cut into 2-inch pieces
  • 4 shiitake mushrooms, stems removed
  • 1/2 cup shirataki noodles, rinsed and drained
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup mirin (sweet rice wine)
  • 3 tbsp sugar
  • 1/2 cup dashi stock
  • 1 tbsp vegetable oil

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet or sukiyaki pan, heat the vegetable oil over medium heat.
  2. Add the beef slices and cook until browned.
  3. Pour in the mirin, soy sauce, sugar, and dashi stock. Stir to combine.
  4. Add the tofu, mushrooms, cabbage, green onions, and shirataki noodles to the skillet.
