Ingredients
- 500g chicken breast, sliced
- 200g fresh bamboo shoots, sliced
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp oyster sauce
- 1 tsp sugar
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp white pepper
- 2 tbsp vegetable oil
- 1/2 cup chicken broth
- 1 tsp cornstarch
- 2 green onions, chopped
Instructions
- In a small bowl, mix the soy sauce, oyster sauce, sugar, salt, and white pepper. Set aside.
- Heat the vegetable oil in a wok over high heat. Add the garlic and stir-fry for 30 seconds.
- Add the chicken and stir-fry until it is no longer pink.
- Add the bamboo shoots and stir-fry for 2 minutes.
- Pour in the chicken broth and the sauce mixture. Bring to a boil.
- In a small bowl, mix the cornstarch with 2 tablespoons of water to create a slurry. Pour the slurry into the wok and stir until the sauce thickens.
- Garnish with chopped green onions and serve hot.
