Ingredients
- 2 lbs pork ribs
- 1 lb Italian sausage
- 1 lb beef meatballs
- 1 onion, chopped
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 (28 oz) cans crushed tomatoes
- 1 (6 oz) can tomato paste
- 1 cup red wine
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- 1 tsp dried basil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
- 1 lb pasta of your choice
Instructions
- In a large pot, brown the pork ribs, Italian sausage, and meatballs over medium heat.
- Add the chopped onion and garlic, and cook until softened.
- Pour in the crushed tomatoes, tomato paste, and red wine. Stir in the dried oregano, basil, salt, and pepper.
- Bring the sauce to a simmer, then reduce the heat to low and let it cook for 3 hours, stirring occasionally.
- Cook the pasta according to the package instructions.
- Serve the Sunday gravy over the cooked pasta, garnished with fresh parsley.
