Sunshine Pickles

Ingredients
- 4 cups sliced cucumbers
- 1 cup sliced onions
- 1 cup white vinegar
- 1 cup water
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1 tablespoon salt
- 1 teaspoon mustard seeds
- 1/2 teaspoon turmeric
Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine the sliced cucumbers and onions.
- In a saucepan, combine the white vinegar, water, sugar, salt, mustard seeds, and turmeric. Bring to a boil.
- Pour the hot liquid over the cucumbers and onions. Let it cool to room temperature.
- Transfer the pickles to jars and refrigerate for at least 24 hours before serving.
