Ingredients
- 1 cup short-grain rice
- 4 cups milk
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- Ground cinnamon, for garnish
Instructions
- In a large pot, combine the rice and milk. Bring to a boil over medium heat, then reduce the heat to low and simmer for 20 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Add the sugar and vanilla extract to the pot and continue to cook for another 10 minutes, or until the rice is tender and the mixture has thickened.
- Remove the pot from the heat and let the sutliash cool for a few minutes.
- Divide the sutliash into serving bowls and sprinkle with ground cinnamon before serving.
