Ingredients

  • 1.5 lbs beef sirloin, thinly sliced
  • 1/4 cup groundnut oil (or peanut oil)
  • 2 tbsp ground cayenne pepper
  • 1 tbsp paprika
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1/2 cup roasted peanuts, finely ground
  • 1/4 cup finely chopped red onion
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh cilantro
  • Salt to taste
  • 8 wooden skewers, soaked in water

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine the groundnut oil, cayenne pepper, paprika, garlic powder, and onion powder to make the marinade.
  2. Add the thinly sliced beef to the marinade and toss to coat. Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour, or overnight for best results.
  3. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
  4. Thread the marinated beef slices onto the soaked skewers.
  5. Grill the beef skewers for 3-4 minutes on each side, or until cooked to your desired level of doneness.
