Ingredients
- 4 large potatoes, peeled and thinly sliced
- 4 large carrots, peeled and thinly sliced
- 1 onion, thinly sliced
- 2 cups grated cheese
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/4 cup breadcrumbs
- 2 tablespoons butter, melted
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Layer the potato, carrot, and onion slices in a greased baking dish, seasoning each layer with salt and pepper.
- Pour the heavy cream over the layered vegetables, then sprinkle the grated cheese on top.
- In a small bowl, mix the breadcrumbs with melted butter and sprinkle the mixture over the cheese.
