Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground allspice
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 12 slider buns
  • 1/2 cup lingonberry jam
  • 1/4 cup sour cream
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, breadcrumbs, milk, onion, egg, salt, pepper, allspice, and nutmeg. Mix until well combined.
  2. Form the mixture into small meatballs, about 1 inch in diameter.
  3. Heat a skillet over medium heat and cook the meatballs until browned on all sides and cooked through, about 10-12 minutes.
  4. Split the slider buns and toast them lightly.
  5. Spread a little lingonberry jam on the bottom half of each bun.
  6. Place a meatball on top of the jam, then add a small dollop of sour cream.
  7. Garnish with fresh parsley and cover with the top half of the bun.
  8. Secure each slider with a toothpick and serve immediately.
