Ingredients

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix together the farmer's cheese, sugar, egg, and vanilla extract until well combined.
  2. In a separate bowl, combine the flour and salt. Gradually add the flour mixture to the cheese mixture, stirring until a dough forms.
  3. Divide the dough into small portions and shape them into balls. Press your thumb into the center of each ball to create an indentation, then fill it with a small amount of the cheese mixture. Close the dough around the filling, shaping it into a smooth ball.
  4. Bring a large pot of water to a boil. Drop the dumplings into the boiling water and cook for about 5-7 minutes, or until they float to the surface.
  5. Remove the dumplings with a slotted spoon and roll them in the breadcrumbs.
  6. Serve the sweet cheese dumplings with a dollop of sour cream on top.
