Sweet Jent (Жент)

Ingredients

  • 2 cups wheat grains
  • 4 cups milk
  • 1 cup sugar

Instructions

  1. Wash the wheat grains and soak them in water for 2 hours.
  2. Drain the soaked wheat grains and place them in a pot.
  3. Add milk to the pot and bring it to a boil over medium heat.
  4. Reduce the heat to low and simmer for 20-25 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the wheat grains are soft and the mixture thickens.
  5. Add sugar to the pot and stir until it dissolves completely.
  6. Remove the pot from the heat and let the sweet jent cool for a few minutes before serving.
